It is my pleasure to share with you today details concerning Ottawa and Eastern Ontario’s 9th Annual Brain Injury Awareness Day.
This event continues to offer a unique and valuable opportunity for survivors, family members, health care and legal professionals to spend a day together to learn, network and refresh their commitment to maximize the quality of life of those affected by brain injury. Through the generous support of its sponsors, this conference is offered at no charge to delegates and visitors. More than 200 persons are expected to attend.
This year’s event has a new venue! Brain Injury Awareness Day will be held at the St. Elias Centre, on Ridgewood Ave.
This year features a choice of professionally led workshops, professional and resource booths. This year’s Keynote speaker is Warrant Officer (WO) Mark Jones who will share his story of suffering an ABI as a result of explosive blast wave propagation.
